Anonymous / LulzSec provides some Christmas cheer, by taking on security think tank Stratfor Global Intelligence on Christmas eve, and posting thousands of credit card numbers, and even using some of them to post donations to charitable organizations such as cancer and AIDS research, the American Red Cross, WikiLeaks and the Tor Project, a software that enables online anonymity.

The activist hacker groupAnonymous says it has stolen thousands of emails, passwords and credit card details from a US-based security think-tank.
The hackers claim they were able to obtain the information because the company, Stratfor, did not encrypt it.
They say Stratfor’s clients include the US defence department, law enforcement agencies and media organisations.
The Austin-based company says it has now suspended the operation on its servers and email.
An alleged member of Anonymous posted an online message, claiming that the group had used Stratfor clients’ credit card details to make “over a million dollars” in donations to different charities.
Stratfor later announced that it would keep its email and servers suspended for some time.
It also said the disclosure was “merely a list of some of the members that have purchased our publications and does not comprise a list of individuals or entities that have a relationship with Stratfor”.
Anonymous has previously claimed responsibility for cyber attacks on financial institutions seen as enemies of the whistleblowing website Wikileaks.

As this is merely an extracted column from a far larger database, we are confident much more very sensitive information, as the bulk of the companies are either in the intelligence or money management business, will be released shortly.

Amazing how these people are so arrogant that they think they can decide who donates and to whom the donations will go to. More so, calling it part of a “master plan” reeks of stupidity that is equal to that of the Third Reich.
Are they appointing themselves law enforcement for the “New World” they wish to force everyone into?
I’ve seen them do this crap in my area-long before they had a name for themselves. Then, it was safe to assume they were robbing the banks, manufacturing their own credit cards and hiding behind others using psychobabble techniques to masq their operation. Some just forget to pull their plates…especially the black ones in the white vans…all two of them.
It’s easy to see where they come from just reading online.
The ’60s are over, but many aren’t willing to acknowledge that fact. They can play the Beatles until their ears bleed!…Imagine there’s no heaven…no hell below us…above us only sky…imagine.
Imagine them seeing themselves as mere criminals operating in a real world in which they are visible-not the ghosts they’d like to portray themselves to be.
My neighbor is still trying to straighten out her credit after the ones in the area took advantage of the genetic research. I even remember one of them being beside me at the bank where the family of another neighbor once owned. Guess his genetics help them, too.
They are very visible! Very! They can try and sell their old worn out 60s styled psychobabble, but that’s all it is.
These people are thieves and murderers posing as charitable troubadours.
