OWS: Anonymous Hacks Police Website

Things weren’t quite as peaceful this weekend at Occupy Chicago. Protesters are still attempting to create a headquarters for this region of the Occupy movement; they marched to Grant Park on Saturday night. But when the park closed, the arrests began. One hundred and thirty people were arrested Saturday night, which marks the second week of mass arrests relating to the Occupy movement.

  1. Thankfully, there was not a police riot like there was in 1968 and that no one was seriously injured. Perhaps that is because the police are now a part of the 99% who are losing their jobs! I have not signed up with National Lawyer’s Guild for a few years – maybe now is the time to get back on board.

Thanks to all those who are coming forth to protest. I kept wondering what it would take to make the protests of the 60’s return.

Planning to go to Boston for a day this weekend to meet up with friends and fellow attorneys.
